Back-to-School Summer Science Camp – Ages 12-17

Are you ready to dive into a world of reptiles, amphibians, and the wonders of nature? We invite all curious minds to our thrilling Back-to-School Summer Science Camp! ðâ¨
On day one, our campers are broken down into their age-ranges so that we have a younger group and an older group, both with a dedicated camp staff member. Ages 12-14 will be grouped together; ages 15-17 will be grouped together.
Prepare for an action-packed week filled with hands-on exploration, mind-boggling experiments, captivating crafts, and unforgettable memories. Our experienced team and dedicated volunteers will lead your children on a journey of discovery, unlocking the secrets of the animal kingdom. ð¦ð
Campers will embark on a thrilling adventure as they learn about reptiles and amphibians from around the globe. From slithering snakes to American Alligators, you will get up close and personal with these fascinating creatures. Through interactive presentations, engaging activities, and live demonstrations, their imaginations will soar, and their knowledge will expand.
ðð¸But that’s not all! Our science camp is a perfect blend of education and fun. Campers will have the opportunity to conduct hands-on science experiments, where they’ll become junior scientists themselves, exploring the mysteries of the natural world. They’ll observe the magic of chemical reactions, build their own mini ecosystems, and uncover the secrets of camouflage. Every experiment will be a thrilling adventure that ignites their passion for science. ð¬ð¿
Craft time will let their creativity soar as they design their own terrariums, create nature-inspired masterpieces, and help build habitats for their newfound reptile and amphibian friends. Their artistic talents will shine, and they’ll take home unique mementos of their time at camp. ð¨ð¦
As the week comes to an end, we’ll conclude with a grand finale â a guided nature hike for the whole family! Together, we’ll explore the breathtaking natural beauty of Hurricane, WV, immersing ourselves in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. It will be an opportunity for parents and siblings to witness the incredible knowledge and enthusiasm your child has gained during their time at camp. ð³ð¶ââï¸ð¨âð©âð§âð¦

**Complete registration form will be emailed to you upon payment. Lunch will be provided each day of camp. This is NOT an overnight camp – drop-off will begin at 8:30am each day and pickup will be at 2:00p each day.**
