One of the most notable things about #PutnamWV is the surprising variety of locally-owned restaurants bursting with creative, flavorful dishes, and the vibrant group of artists and artisans who make life here more beautiful and colorful.
This is why the Putnam CVB organizes Tastes & Talents each March. Beginning in 2017, we’ve organized events and promotions around local food and the arts to help support local businesses and provide a unique experience for residents and visitors to the area.
“We have so many surprising locally owned restaurants, especially for a smaller community, and we want to encourage residents and visitors to experience a new flavor” said Kelli Steele, Putnam CVB executive director. “The culinary arts pair perfectly with other artforms, and this is an opportunity to highlight all of those together as we look forward to spring.”
A complete list of Tastes and Talents participating restaurants and events can be found at tastesandtalents.com, and guests who visit and post on social media from four Tastes & Talents events or restaurants will earn a Putnam County ceramic dipped coffee mug.
